ME(TAL), WO(OD), MA(RBLE)

Mewoma is a family of tables with a sculptural presence. The table combines a laser cut metal base topped by a large wooden column supporting the marble top. The three materials gave the table its name : metal (ME), wood (WO) and marble (MA).

THE DESIGNER

Jonah Takagi received a BFA in Furniture Design from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2002. After several years of life on the road as a touring musician, Jonah launched his studio in 2010. He has exhibited work throughout Europe and America and counts among his clients such brands as Kvadrat, Roll and Hill, Umbra Shift, Matter, La Chance and Hem.

The tabletop comes in a large variety of shapes (round, oval, cushion or square) with one or two legs for long versions up to 3 meters (with an oblong top).
