DEFINITION OF THE CLIENT’S NEEDS
The briefing is the foundation of the collaboration in the development process. La Chance team of experienced professionals will examine every detail to perfectly understand the requirements of the clients.
Some clients have a precise idea of the piece they want while others have a need to fulfill but no defined solution. Either way, La Chance creative team will assist you and make sure to understand the requirements of the project.
A timeline for the next steps of the project is agreed between La Chance and the client at this stage.

PRODUCT CONCEPT DESIGN
La Chance team comes back to the client with first concept, drawings, materials and color proposals (using samples from La Chance material library). A first quotation with options is submitted to the client, both for the prototype and the main series.
This step defines the main projects specifications and the validation of the design concept.

TECHNICAL CONCEPTION
& ENGINEERING
La Chance team translates the design concept into production documents and detailed plans of each component of the product. Our artisans analyse each detail to make sure the product is in line with the brief. Additional samples can be produced at this point to test a technical solution or a particular material finish.

PROTOTYPING
& PRE PRODUCTION VALIDATION
The prototype is essential to validate the creative, technical, and financial aspects before the mass production is launched. The client reviews the prototype and validates the design and finishes of the products. One prototype is usually enough as most details have been addressed in the conception phase, but a second prototype can be made to implement the client’s changes on the first prototype.

PRODUCTION
La Chance has a very close relationship with the highly skilled artisans who produce the pieces of La Chance main collection. Bespoke pieces are produced with the same team. All our furniture and lighting producers are located in Europe (France, Portugal, Italy, Lithuania, and Ukraine) for the best quality and efficient production with a optimised communication.
The client is regularly updated with news and images of the production process.

PACKAGING
& DELIVERY
Based on the specific requirements of the project, La Chance will pack the products in purpose builts packaging (cardboard, protective foam, wooden crates,etc) to ensure the product is delivered in perfect condition.

INSTALLATION
La Chance can organize special deliveries, installation of the products, and collection of the packaging thanks to his partnerships with local specialists worldwide.

& CONTINUITY
The mission of La Chance continues after the products have been delivered and installed. La Chance can produce additional pieces for existing projects and provides support and assists clients with repairs.

stonework : stone, and in particular marble, is one of the characteristic elements of La Chance pieces. Whether in slab or in volume, La Chance has uses the most modern tools (CNC cutting, 5 axes, laser engraving) and offers a large choice of stones in stock or quickly available.

wood-working and cabinet making : chairs, tables, cabinets: both in solid wood and veneer, with a wide array of finishes and wood types. Our artisans master traditional technique but also use CNC 5 axis machines for the most complicated shapes. (JEEVES)

metal : La Chance masters the finishes of steel as demonstrated in the BORGHESE , FLOAT, or ROCKY with lacquered, brushed, textured, oxidized finishes.

upholstery : Combining foams to obtain the best look and comfort, dealing with complex shapes and fabrics.

rugs : Bespoke rugs with various techniques (tuffted, hand knotted) using wool, cotton, but also silk. It is possible to mix pile hights and tecnics to create complex designs.

wallpaper : bespoke wallpaper or murals with a wide range of papers (unwoven, water resistent, gold leaf, etc) adapted to the requirements of hospitality projects.
